MSI with its implementing partner Sunaulo Pariwar Nepal organized CSE Mela on 29th August 2019 at Kumari Futsal Paknajol. This MELA was inaugurated by Vice Chair of National Youth Council Madhav Dhungel, Country Representatives of UNFPA Lubna Baki, Executive director of Saunalo Pariwar Nepal, Tushar Niraula in the presence of students & teachers of School, representatives of civil Society & media.
The event aimed to raise awareness of CSE among adolescents, blending entertainment activities with educational opportunities. The major attraction of CSE Mela was futsal tournament among 8 schools along with other side event like flash mob, IEC materials, a photobooth, an anonymous query box where students could drop their ASRH questions to be answered.
134 people attended “CSE Mela” event where 60% were aged 20 or under and 40% were female. During this event 34 people received SRH Counselling with referral option to services where necessary.
At the closing session, Bidhya DC-Program officer of Family Welfare Division, Country Representatives of UNFPA-Lalita & E2A Director of SPN-Satyajit Pradhan were presented. During the closing session, winner were awarded by our guest.

Samata Shikhya Niketan was the winner of the futsal tournament whereas Ghamvir Samundra Setu Secondary School was the 1st runner up and Padma Kanya Vidyasharam won the best CSE Team title.
